We have already distorted the U.S. Constitution terribly from the founders intent. The people who wrote that document created something brilliant. It has been copied many times and is still governing us about a century longer than many founders thought it could last. Frankly, I don't trust our current crop of politicians to do this in an honorable and fair-minded manner. We don't have video of the founders, but we have many, many examples of their writings. Compare those to the things we are getting from today's politicians. Brrrr. OK, that topic scares me – I’ll admit it.
